15-year-old injured in Lake Avenue hit-and-run

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 15-year-old Rochester boy was hospitalized Friday after police said he walked into the side of a moving car.

The car was turning onto Lake Avenue from Phelps Avenue around 6:30 p.m. when the boy walked into traffic, according to investigators. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for a complaint of pain.

The vehicle did not stop at the scene. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
