‘Barbie You Can Be Anything: The Experience’ coming to Strong Museum

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Barbie is joining the Stong National Museum of Play to open a new exhibit that places real-life inspiring women into the world of Barbie.

From aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart to Olympic gymnast Laurie Hernandez, ‘Barbie You Can Be Anything: The Experience’, uses the dolls to share individual life experiences allowing children and adults to learn about women who broke career barriers, and the people who supported them along their journey.

Visitors are also invited to take their pictures inside a Barbie box, listing their name and choosing a career for a customized picture opportunity, emphasizing the opportunity for children to discover and be inspired while uncovering different careers.

The Strong Barbie exhibit is set to open to the public on this Saturday, January 20.
