ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WROC) — For the third time in the last three seasons, the Bills season ended at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. News 8 sports director Thad Brown and Carl Jones discuss what happened on Sunday night.

This time around it was supposed to be different for the Bills. They finally hosted the Chiefs in a playoff game in the Josh Allen era yet the result was the same.

In a game where Allen made several outstanding plays and did not turn the ball over, the Bills offense still couldn’t muster up a single point in the fourth quarter. How much of that was the Chiefs defense compared to the Bills lack of execution?

The Bills injuries on defense finally came back to haunt them. The unit struggled to keep up with and contain a Chiefs offense that was inconsistent throughout the season.

Spinning it forward what will this Bills group look like next season? Brandon Beane and the rest of the front office will have to manage a shaky salary cap situation while also addressing the age of the roster.
