Cupid’s Cup 5k expected to delay traffic in Irondequoit

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — YellowJacket Racing is hosting a Cupid’s Cup 5k Sunday morning throughout the Town of Irondequoit.

The race will begin Sunday at 9 a.m. at the West Irondequoit High School. Local traffic surrounding the high school will be controlled from 8:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and may cause delays.

This holiday race features different colored attire that lets other runners know your relationship status.  Singles wear green, yellow is for the “its complicated” status and red is for those who are in a relationship.

Residential traffic may be delayed in the following locations: Cooper Road, Hartland, Frankland Road, Couchman, Poppy, Pinegrove, List Ave, Wyndale, Belmeade, and Hedgegarth Drive.
