Driver dead after Livonia dump truck crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Geneseo resident was killed in a dump truck crash in Livonia Tuesday.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office, Valentine Nguyen drove into the path of an oncoming dump truck at the intersection of Stone Hill Road and Bronson Hill Road around 4:12 p.m.

Nguyen, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the car was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police said were serious injuries.

The crash is under investigation, but police said their preliminary finding was that it was not criminal.
