Geneseo woman arrested on burglary charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Geneseo woman on burglary charges.

According to deputies, on January 30 at 9:30 p.m., deputies responded to a residence on Pole Bridge Road in Geneseo for reports of a burglary. Deputies said the caller reported to have come home and found damage to a window and blood in his home.

Following an investigation, deputies said 31-year-old Nicole Etshman of Geneseo went into the home after breaking a window and leaving through a back door. It is alleged that Etshman caused additional damage to the outside of the home before leaving.

Etshman was arrested on February 4 and charged with felony criminal mischief in the third degree and criminal trespass in the second degree.

According to deputies, Etshman was turned over to Livingston County Jail for pre-arraignment and was released to appear in court at a later date.
