ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Mommy City hosted a kids consignment sale at the Panorama Plaza in Pittsford on Sunday.

They offered over 40,000 items in their sale from clothes to toys, books, and other essentials. This annual sale gives parents the chance to buy and sell items of their choosing.

Ryan Turco, the owner of Mommy City said, “The sale benefits our community in many ways we have, our consigners that are able to clear out their house and get some extra money, and then our customers are able to come in, and get things at extremely discounted prices. 60 to 70 percent off what you would normally pay in retail.”

Ryan Turco is also the Creative Services Director here at News 8 and noted how this annual event has an environmental component helping to prevent unused unwanted clothes and items from ending up in a landfill.

Attendees told New 8 how much events like this help growing families in the community.
