Lyons woman arrested for allegedly sharing inappropriate material with minor

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman from the Town of Lyons for allegedly sharing inappropriate photos with a minor.

According to WCSO, deputies investigated a report of a child endangerment complaint involving 33-year-old Destiney Mantooth. Following an investigation, deputies said on July 12, 2023, it was alleged that Mantooth engaged in a sexual conversation with a 15-year-old boy and sent a nude video of herself.

Mantooth was arrested for disseminating indecent material to minors in the second degree and endangering the welfare of a child according to Wayne County deputies.

Deputies noted Mantooth was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in court at a later date.
