Man shot at home on Aab Street, expected to survive

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man was shot at a home on Aab Street after midnight Friday, according to the Rochester Police Department.

When officers arrived at the home after 12:30 a.m., they found the victim, a 54-year-old man, with at least one gunshot wound to his lower body.

The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital via AMR to be treated for his non-life-threatening injury.

RPD says they are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting and is asking anyone with information to call 911.
