ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Coach Sean McDermott will meet with the media as shovelers are busy digging out Highmark Stadium again for the Bills game.

During the conference, McDermott announced Gabe Davis, Christian Benford, Taylor Rapp, and Baylon Spector will be out for the game against the Chiefs. The decision for the rest of the players on the list, such as Sam Martin and Terrel Bernard, will be decided at the game time.

Despite these injuries, McDermott is taking this one day at a time and seems to be positive looking forward.

“I give our guys a lot of credit. The way they take the bull by the horns and said ‘hey, we’re going to figure this thing out,'” said McDermott. “That takes special people with special mindsets, and they’ve just done a phenomenal job with that.”

This will be the second time this week that Coach McDermott will be taking questions from the media. Last time, he updated the already extensive injury list for the Bills and announced Matt Haack had been signed to the practice squad.

Another lake-effect snowstorm is on the horizon for Buffalo and unlike the last game, there have not been any announcements of a postponement. The snow that is already showering above the stadium has not prevented the Bills from practicing.

McDermott also said that the Bills have come a long way from seven seasons ago as he talks about the upcoming Chiefs game.

“You come to the Buffalo Bills to play in games like this, it doesn’t get any better than this. Two great teams, two great organizations. I’m extremely proud of where we’ve come from and where we are today in the last seven seasons.”

The Bills and Chiefs game will be held on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. and will air on News 8 WROC.
