ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Presidential Primary Election in-person voting starts on Tuesday, and the Monroe County Board of Elections is asking residents to get prepared.

Here’s what you need to know about when and where you can vote and how many people have already voted.

When can I vote?

As mentioned previously, early voting has already finished, but the presidential primary election starts on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, the local primary election will be held in June. Early voting for that will be held from June 15 through June 23. The primary election will be on June 25, 2024.

Lastly, early voting for the general election this November will be from October 26 through November 3 — before election day on November 5.

Where can I vote?

On its website, the County Board of Elections says it makes changes to assigned polling places every year.

If you’re not sure where you are supposed to vote this year, the county has a search function that helps find your polling location. You can use this search function by clicking here.

Those looking for a full list of polling sites in Monroe County can also find that on the Board of Elections website.

I haven’t registered to vote. How do I do that?
