Pro-Wolcott dissolution group meeting to be held

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A group in Wolcott is holding a public meeting to discuss the possible dissolution of the village.

The meeting will consist of a question-and-answer session. State assemblyman Brian Manktelow is taking part. He was Lyons town supervisor when the village of Lyons dissolved in 2015.

Also scheduled to attend, are Wolcott town supervisor Lynn Chatfield and members of the town board. One village resident filed a petition on November 30 to start the dissolution process on behalf of the committee.
