Rochester police issue alert for missing man with dementia

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Police Department issued an alert for a missing man with dementia and Alzheimer’s Wednesday.

Eugene Smith, 75, was last seen Monday afternoon on Alphonse Street in Rochester, according to police. He was wearing a red, white and blue jacket.

Smith is described as 5’7″ and 110 pounds. Police believe he may be in danger due to medical issues, including dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
