ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Forget the 50-degree guarantee, it was the rain that ruined the Rochester Red Wings home opener.

Tuesday’s game against Lehigh Valley, originally scheduled for 4 p.m., is postponed and will be moved to a later date. The teams will try again Wednesday at 6:05 p.m.

The Winter Mittens and Magnet Schedule giveaway has been rescheduled for Wednesday.

Aside from the rain, the temperature was below 50, meaning fans can exchange their tickets for any game throughout the season.
