Sodus man arrested on drug and weapon charges

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — New York State Police arrested a Sodus man on drug charges after finding a variety of drugs on Tuesday during a search.

Troopers said they executed a search warrant at a residence on South Geneva Road in the town of Sodus. Troopers said the suspect Anthony Cromartie, 54, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and three counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

While executing the search warrant, troopers found and seized crack cocaine, fentanyl and meth pills, digital scales, packaging materials, a loaded shotgun, two loaded rifles, and over $1,000 in cash.

Around one ounce of crack cocaine

NYSP said Cromartie was transported to Wayne County Jail where he awaits arraignment.
