ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Community members in Clifton Springs concerned they’ve been exposed to toxic fumes released into the air by a manufacturing plant in the town had the opportunity to talk one-on-one with state officials.

At Tuesday’s meeting, residents took their questions directly to the DEC and Department of Public Health.

Part of the cleanup includes what’s called “bioremediation” — a process that officials say could take months or even years to complete.
