ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — ABC Gates Bowl hosted the ‘Strike Out for Autism’ tournament on Sunday.

This was another strikingly successful event focused on raising awareness and money for AutismUp. Each entry goes toward the non-profit organization and participants also have a chance to win prizes in a big 50/50 auction.

Russell Vallone, the Owner, and proprietor of ABC Gates Bowl said, “AutismUp is here every Friday. They have a small bowling program and my favorite part is cutting that check for them and you know giving them this chunk of money. Last year we raised I think about $6,000 and I know it’s a small organization and it just makes me feel good to be able to contribute and help them keep things going cause they do a lot for the kids in the community with autism.”

All proceeds from the raffles and auction went to AutismUp.
