Protestors call for Gaza ceasefire during Monroe County Legislature meeting

URMC workers officially on strike after failed contract negotiations

Monroe County Legislature passes $1.4 billion budget

Mother charged with murder after one-year-old child was found in closet

Angelica’s Law signed after 15-year effort

Weather forecast: Snow this afternoon could accumulate in Wayne County

Wednesday will start sunny and breezy, but an established WNW flow will likely pick up moisture off Lake Ontario and bands of snow showers will form somewhere through Wayne County. The bands should hug the Lake Ontario shoreline through Monroe County and could spit out a few tenths of an inch of snow north of Rt. 104. There will be a few passing snow showers through Rochester and south, but it’s unlikely any of this sticks outside of a trace. Winds seem to be a bit too strong to sustain any band for a long time over one area. The best chances for an inch or more will be in Wayne County.
