T-Mobile customer service center opens in Henrietta

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — T-Mobile announced that it has opened its Customer Service Experience Center in Henrietta this spring.

T-Mobile announced recently they expected the facility to open up in early 2024 — bringing with it 1,000 jobs to the area. The new facility will be in an 83,000-square-foot building with a basketball court, patio, gym, theatre room, and massage chairs included for its employees.

“Greater Rochester Chamber is thrilled to welcome T-Mobile to our community,” said Bob Duffy, President and CEO of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. “Their investment in this new Customer Experience Center showcases the potential for growth and innovation within our region and will serve to boost our local economy through hundreds of new, good-paying jobs with incredible benefits.”

T-Mobile added that they launched a hiring campaign for 70 new Account Associate jobs and other positions that specialize in resolutions, account management, and customer education. They announced that all new hires will start at $20 an hour with benefits included.

T-Mobile said they plan on hosting an official ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration in the spring.
