Two women hospitalized after car crash on Cleveland Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Two women were injured after a car crash at the intersection of Cleveland Street and North Street, according to the Rochester Police Department.

Officers said a 28-year-old woman was driving her 2016 Nissan Sentra in the area. A 47-year-old woman was also in the vehicle at the time.

Investigators said while she was driving down Cleveland Street, the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a utility box. The driver and passenger were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.

The driver was issued two traffic infractions. RPD said drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash.
