Verona Animal Shelter seeks bottled water during boil water advisory

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Verona Animal Shelter asks for help during the boil water advisory.

In a recent post shared on their Facebook page, employees at the shelter asked the public to help them provide fresh water to their animals. Multiple areas within the City of Rochester are under a boil water advisory due to the recent discovery of a body found in the Highland Park Reservoir.

Items can be brought by the shelter between the hours of 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The shelter is not open on Fridays
