ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — For this GRE WHY ROC feature we’re getting some insight behind the creation of the Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship.

Now in its second year, it’s taking applications for new incoming classes. Dr. Ian Mortimer, president of the institute, joined Sunrise anchor Brennan Somers in the studio for a conversation about the business school’s progress.

Inspector General Audit: More action needed to address mail theft

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) -- Following confirmation the United States Postal Service is conducting mail theft investigations in and around the Rochester area, News 8 is looking deeper into one case which was an inside job. While there are national plans to address mail theft, including increasing violence against mail carriers, an audit report from the Inspector General's Office shows several areas in need of improvement.
