Winter Classic tournament raises money for breast cancer research

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Local first responders competed against each other at the 2024 Winter Classic Hockey Tournament for charity.

The annual charity game is an event that the Monroe County Fire Hockey team hosts every year for the benefit of Breast Cancer research. This year, the Monroe County Town Police Hockey team joined in.

Included in this event were raffle-off prizes donated by over 60 businesses around the county and 90 prizes to be won. All proceeds go towards the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.
